Woodbury Salterton Pupils Flip, Twist, and Shine at Exeter Gymnastics Club! 

Our Year 1 to Year 6 children had an unforgettable experience at Exeter Gymnastics Club, and what a day it was! From the moment they stepped through the doors, excitement filled the air as the pupils explored the world of gymnastics in a professional setting. 

The session began with a lively warm-up, getting everyone ready for action. Then came the real fun—children had a go at completing different skills on the high bars, balanced carefully along the beams, and tackled a fantastic course involving forward rolls, bunny hops, vaulting, and even backward rolls! It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and tried something new. 

Our younger pupils showed incredible bravery as they mastered basic movements, while the older children impressed coaches with their determination and skill. The smiles were endless, and the cheers of encouragement created a brilliant atmosphere of teamwork and positivity. 

The children were an absolute credit to themselves and to the school. We would like to say a massive thank you to Suzanne and all the coaches at Exeter Gymnastics Club for making our trip so special. We will be back!
