Our children had a fantastic opportunity to visit ECC alongside other Exmouth schools to meet award-winning poet and author Matt Goodfellow. Matt inspired the children by sharing his journey into poetry and explaining how he first began writing through songs. He brought poetry to life with energetic performances of some of his own poems, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Afterwards, the children had the opportunity to purchase copies of his books, including Six Weeks, and have them personally signed by Matt. It was a wonderful experience and a great way to inspire a love of poetry and writing.
